Womens Republican Club

A Personal Invitation from
Chairwoman Trisha Turner
The Ontario County Republican Committee is launching our 2025 Chairman’s Club and welcome you to join this year! We need YOUR help this year to get our team over the line. The past election was exciting for our party. We won back the White House, the Senate, and retained the House! There is a genuine wave of enthusiasm and heartfelt hope for our nation. We are excited to build upon the red wave in New York and locally in Ontario County!
New York State is at a crossroads, and we need to wage strong campaigns to ensure the best representation in our local towns, Albany, and Washington D.C. Next year we have the opportunity to take the Governor’s seat. Kathy Hochul is vulnerable, and we need to work together to do our part to help in the statewide battle. We will continue to fight for our local candidates in Ontario County and do our part to support strong and qualified republican candidates.
I am happy to speak with you directly if you have any questions about how to get involved or how to support our committee. We continue our efforts to bring a leadership team that fights for your values, your community, and your nation. Please consider supporting the Ontario County Republican Committee as a Chairman’s Club Member or joining the OCRC so we can successfully maintain strong leadership and do our part to restore the greatness of New York. Together, we will make a significant difference in our community!
With Gratitude,
Trisha Turner

Ontario Republicans endorse Karle and Barnes for judge positions
March 21, 2025, 12:05 PM / Updated: March 21, 2025, 12:32 PM
The Ontario County Republican Committee has officially endorsed two local legal professionals for upcoming judicial races in the November 4 election. Judge Kristina “Kitty” Karle received the committee’s backing for New York State Supreme Court Justice, while Stefanie Barnes was endorsed for Ontario County Judge.
Karle, currently serving her seventh year on the Ontario County Court Bench, is seeking election to the Supreme Court in the state’s 7th Judicial District, which includes eight counties. She presides over family, criminal, and Supreme Court cases, including Youth Part for youthful offender matters. Since taking the bench, she has overseen nearly 7,000 cases.
Barnes, a solo practitioner and part-time assistant district attorney in Wayne County, brings 25 years of legal experience to her candidacy. She has spent seven years as a prosecutor, including the last five in the Major Felonies Bureau. In addition to her prosecutorial work, Barnes has served as a defense attorney and holds certifications as a Court Evaluator, Guardian Ad Litem, and Attorney for the Child.
Committee Chairwoman Trisha Turner praised both candidates for their dedication and qualifications, noting that each has “distinguished themselves by their work.”

Caring for America Award May 2024

A big "Thank You" to the New York State Federation of Republican Women and congratulations to the Ontario County Women’s Republican Club on receiving the Caring for America award at the May 2024 NYSFRW conference. We prepared over 350 stockings and delivered a car load of toys for veteran families, in collaboration with Zeldin Cares, Monroe County Federated Republican Women, and Steuben County Federated Republican Women. Thank you to all volunteers for making such a positive difference in the lives of our veterans and their families! #nysfrw #followers

We are making a difference! Thank you to Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes and attorney Bobbie Anne Cox for bringing this to the court and for your advocacy! And, for every single voice that rails against this insanity! Don’t be fooled by the language in the bill that couches the word “rights” that also strip parental rights, assaults women’s sports and our own voting rights! We will continue the fight!
